Cardinals Set for Bellarmine Open

The competition will take place at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center on Friday, Jan. 17.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville track & field teams are set to take part in the Bellarmine Open, which will take place at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center on Friday, January 17.
Along with the Cardinals, the competition will feature a total of 12 teams with the field including programs such as Bellarmine, Eastern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Western Kentucky.
Both the track events and field events will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET with the full schedule of events linked here. Live results for the meet can be found here.
Admission to the meet will cost $10, while parking will be available in two surface lots offered by the facility for a $5 charge.
Last weekend at the Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational, the Cardinals combined for a total of 12 performances that rank among the top 10 in program history, including Kiyah Yeast's program record of 38.19 in the women's 300m.
Additionally, Jayden Ulrich made her season debut in the women's shot put at the McCravy, posting a mark of 18.00m (59-0.75) that currently stands second in the nation, while Soledad Jean (women's high jump) and Synclair Savage (women's long jump) picked up the first event wins of their senior seasons.
