Stephens Tabbed Honorable Mention All-American on Third Day of NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Brion Stephens was tabbed an Honorable Mention All-American as the University of Louisville men's track & field team closed out their season on the third day of action at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
In his first appearance at the national outdoor meet, the sophomore earned Honorable Mention All-American distinction in the men's high jump to cap a season where he secured a runner-up finish in the event at the ACC Outdoor Championships and qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials later this month.
As a team, the Louisville men finished in a tie for 56th with a total of three points that stemmed from Ian Kibiwot's sixth-place finish in the men's 10000m.
The Cardinals will close out the 2024 campaign tomorrow afternoon with the conclusion of the women's competition. Soledad Jean will contest the women's high jump at 5:00 p.m. ET and Jayden Ulrich will take part in the women's discus throw at 5:05 p.m. ET.
The duration of the day's events will be streamed on ESPN, while field event-specific live streams can be found on ESPN+.
