LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville track & field teams are set to begin their postseason this weekend at the 2026 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships, which will take place over three days on Feb. 26-28 at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Mass.
Action will begin on Thursday morning for the Cardinals at 11:20 a.m. ET with the start of the women's pentathlon, while the day's track events will get underway at 4:05 p.m. ET with the first section of the men's 5000m. The full schedule of events can be found here.
Portions of the meet from each of the three days of competition will be streamed live on ACCNX. The streaming schedule can be found below.
At last season's ACC Indoor Championships in Louisville, the Louisville women placed third in the team standings for their best finish at the meet in program history, while the men's team placed 11th.
The Cardinals return four athletes that earned All-ACC distinction last season in Louisville, including KJ Byrd, who will compete in three individual events this weekend just a year after winning the conference title in the men's heptathlon as a freshman.
Coming into the conference championship meet, the Cards boast a total of 22 marks that rank among the top eight in the conference thus far this season, positioning themselves to compete for multiple conference titles.
The Cardinals also currently have five athletes who currently rank among the top 16 nationally in their respective events: Byrd (2nd – men's heptathlon), Elsingi Kipruto (6th – men's 5000m), Ashley Callahan (T-7th – women's pole vault), Iliana Triantafyllou (women's pole vault), and Kaia Tupu-South (15th – women's shot put).
