
Cards Ready for NCAA East Regionals

The four-day competition will provide 18 Louisville athletes with the opportunity to qualify for the 2024 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville track & field teams are set to begin competition at the 2024 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminary Round on Wednesday.
The regional meet will be held from May 22-25 at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track & Field Facility in Lexington, Ky. Men's events are set to take place on Wednesday and Friday and women's events slated for Thursday and Saturday. The Cards qualified 18 individuals in 14 events for the East Regionals with six athletes set to represent Louisville on the first day of competition.
All four days of competition will be streamed on ESPN+. The full streaming schedule with links attached can be found below.
Both all session and single session tickets for spectators to attend the event can be purchased here.
The field in Lexington features athletes with the top-48 marks in each respective event among schools in the East Region, following injury or withdrawal, with the only exceptions being the top-24 times for relays and direct qualification to the national championship meet for the top-24 marks nationally in the decathlon and heptathlon.
The top-12 event finishers from each region at the preliminary meets will advance to the 2024 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships that will take place in Eugene, Ore. from June 5-8.
