Donnet, Rodrigues Begin NCAA Doubles Championship Path Tuesday

Doubles duo to play brothers from Old Dominion in opening round
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UofL men's tennis tandem #8 Etienne Donnet & Natan Rodrigues (14-5) begin their journey in the 2024 NCAA Men's Tennis Doubles Championship on Tuesday.
The duo is slated to compete against #57 Codie Van Schalkwyk & Connor Van Schalkwyk of Old Dominion on Tuesday at approximately 5:30 p.m. ET. The brothers from the Sun Belt Conference school are 11-6 on the doubles court this year.
Different from the regular collegiate season, doubles matches in the NCAA Championship are played best two out of three sets.
Louisville's Donnet & Rodrigues earned a top-eight seed in the double championship, automatically giving them ITA All-American honors for the 2023-24 season. It's the second year in a row that Rodrigues is a Doubles All-American; it is the first distinction for fifth-year Donnet.
Should they advance, the Cardinals would play the winner of Freddy Blaydes/Niels Ratiu of Georgia vs. Ondrej Horak/Leo Raquin of Middle Tennessee.
