Perroni Earns ILWomen All-America Honorable Mention Distinction

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Nicole Perroni of the University of Louisville women's lacrosse team was named an Inside Lacrosse All-America Honorable Mention for the 2024 season, the media outlet announced Thursday.
Perroni was named a USA Lacrosse DI All-America Honorable Mention and a First Team IWLCA West/Midwest Region selection for her outstanding 2024 season.
Perroni, a graduate midfielder, tallied 45 goals and 10 assists in her final collegiate season. She ended her Louisville career on a 55-game point scoring streak and a 54-game goal scoring streak, both the longest streaks in program history.
The native of Ontario, Canada led the team with a total of 44 caused turnovers, 73 draw controls, and 48 ground balls this season. She averaged 2.32 caused turnovers per game, which ranks second in the ACC and 11th in the country. Perroni led the ACC with 2.53 ground balls per game and 0.95 free position goals per game.
Earlier this season, Perroni was named an ILWomen Midseason All-America Honorable Mention and the USA Lacrosse D1 Player of the Week for her performance in the historic win over Virginia Tech in the first round of the ACC Tournament.
Perroni, who was a 2024 All-ACC First Team selection, has cemented herself as one of the greatest players in Louisville lacrosse history.
