Louisville Set for Mid-Week Match at Notre Dame

The Cardinals are slated for a 4 p.m. match on Wednesday in South Bend
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team is on the road for a midweek matchup against Notre Dame on Wednesday, April 10. The match will begin at 4 p.m. ET at the Eck Tennis Pavilion.Â

The Cards (13-12, 2-8 ACC) dropped both of their matches over the weekend, falling 4-2 to Georgia Tech and 4-0 to Clemson at home. UofL is ranked at No. 46 in the latest ITA team rankings. In the singles rankings, Etienne Donnet ranked at No. 47, Will Mayew is at No. 112 and Natan Rodrigues is at No. 117. The duo of Donnet and Rodrigues are ranked at No. 15 and are 11-4 on the season.Â

Louisville started the match against Georgia Tech by earning the doubles point with the pair of Donnet and Kosuke Nakanishi winning 6-4 on court two and the tandem of Rodrigues and Miguel Avendaño winning 6-3 on court three. The lone singles point was Nakanishi's three-set battle on court five, where he defeated the Yellow Jackets' Krish Arora 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.Â
