Moss Posts Top-10 Finish at ACC Golf Championship

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Sebastian Moss finished at 4-under-par to lead the University of Louisville men's golf team to a ninth-place finish at the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Golf Championship Sunday at the Charlotte Country Club.
Entering the day in sixth place, the Cardinals dropped three spots in the standings after shooting a 16-over-par 300 on Sunday. Louisville closed the championship at 12-over-par, firing 285-279-300=864. North Carolina finished at 10-under-par and Florida State, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest were all at 4-under-par to advance to the match-pay portion of the championship.
Moss posted a top 10-finish as he ended the championship in a tie for sixth place. On Sunday, Moss remained in contention despite shooting a 1-over-par 72. Overall, Moss shot 70-67-72=209 to end the day just three shots off the lead. He was steady on Sunday with 15 pars, two bogeys and a birdie for his round.
Copper Claycomb was just outside the top 10 by finishing in 12th place after finishing with an even-par 213. He shot 75 on Sunday to keep him in the top 15. Max Kennedy finished in 47th place after his round of 76, while Easton Johson was 55th at 16-over-par. Andrew Tan finished in 60th place after shooting a 77 on Sunday.
The Cardinals will await their postseason fate when the pairings for the 2024 NCAA Men's Golf Regionals will be announced on May 1 at 2 p.m. on the Golf Channel.
