Field Hockey Releases 2024 Spring Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville field hockey coach Justine Sowry has released the Cardinals 2024 spring schedule which includes three home dates and a trip to Northwestern.

Louisville will open the spring slate on March 2 when the Cards host Indiana and Miami (Ohio) at Trager Stadium. The Cardinals will stay in town to host the Louisville Play Day April 6-7 at Trager Stadium. The following week, UofL will hit the road for Evanston, Ill., to compete in the Northwestern Play Day Weekend. The spring slate will conclude on April 20 when the program welcomes back former letterwinners to Trager Stadium for the Alumnae Game.

March 2- Indiana and Miami (Ohio) Play Day (Trager Stadium)
April 6 and 7- Louisville Play Day Weekend (Trager Stadium)
April 13 and 14- Northwestern Play Day Weekend (Evanston, Ill.)
April 20 - Alumnae Game (Trager Stadium)

About Louisville Field Hockey
In 2023, the University of Louisville field hockey team posted a 15-7 overall record and made its fifth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance, reaching the quarterfinals for the third time in the last five years. Louisville also went 3-3 in ACC play and advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament as the No. 3 seed. The Cards finished the season at No. 10 in the NFHCA Coaches' poll after spending 10 weeks ranked among the nation's the top 10, reaching as high as No. 4.
