
Plumb Named NFHCA Third Team All-American

Aimee Plumb takes home her third All-America honor
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville's Aimee Plumb has been named to the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-America third team. She is one of 48 Division I student-athletes to earn the honor which is sponsored by Apex.

Plumb earns her third All-America accolade after previously taking home the honor in 2021 and 2022. The midfielder and team co-captain from Canterbury Kent, England, also garnered her fifth-straight NFHCA All-West Region team selection and third all-ACC recognition this year.
As a fifth-year senior, Plumb scored four goals and dished out four assists for 12 points on the season as she climbed the school record book. She finished her career ranked seventh on the program's all-time list for points (86) and goals (30) and ninth in career assists (26).
During her time at Louisville, she helped the Cardinals to four NCAA tournament appearances, reaching the quarterfinals twice (2020, 2023), as well as program's first NCAA semifinal appearance in the 2020 campaign. She was also an integral part of two ACC championship teams (2020, 2021) .
