UofL men’s basketball continues its season-opening homestand
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball will face its first ranked opponent of the season as No. 12 Tennessee comes to The Ville on Saturday at noon. The contest will be broadcast on ACC Network.

Louisville opened up the Pat Kelsey era with a decisive 93-45 victory over Morehead State on Monday evening. Tennessee opened its 10th season under Rick Barnes with an 80-64 win over Gardner-Webb in Knoxville on the same evening.

The Cardinals lead the all-time series over the Volunteers 12-8. The last time the programs met was in the preseason NIT on Nov. 21, 2018. The last time one of the team's was at home in the series was when UofL beat Tennessee 85-62 in Louisville on Jan. 22, 2005.
