Scott Named AVCA/GameChanger National Player of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville senior libero Elena Scott was named the AVCA/GameChanger National Player of the Week.Â
She had an outstanding weekend on the court, helping the Cardinals to a sweep of both California and No. 3 Stanford. Her efforts led to her being named ACC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.Â
Scott was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. Scott was named the first Defensive Player of the Week on the year on September 2, before earning Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors on September 16.
Scott dug up 39 balls and tallied nine assists in the Cardinals' wins over Cal and No. 3 Stanford last week, moving her career digs total to 1,556. Scott has 204 digs on the season and is 15th in the nation in digs per set with 4.98.
