No. 13/6 Swimming and Diving Set to Host Missouri

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The No. 13/6-ranked University of Louisville men's and women's swimming and diving team plays host to long-time rival RV/RV Missouri on Friday, January 5, at 12 p.m. inside Ralph Wright Natatorium.

The Cardinals last competed in a three-day meet at the Ohio State Invitational on November 16-18, where they both finished third in competition. On the women's side, Ohio State prevailed with a score of 2666 while Indiana (2553) and Louisville (2022) finalized the top three, followed by Notre Dame (1459), Cincinnati (1317), Pitt (253), Ohio U (199) and California (171).Â

On the men's side, Indiana came out in front at 2830 with Ohio State (2459) and the Cardinals (1985.5) finishing second and third, and Notre Dame (1797.5), Cincinnati (1247), Pitt (341) and Cal (214) rounding out the competition.
Missouri was last in action on December 2, as the Tigers faced off against in-state foe Missouri State and claimed their 15th straight win over the Bears. Ten different Tigers earned event wins, as the men won 153-90 and the women notched a 147-96 victory. Both groups also received votes in the latest Division I swim and dive rankings.
Louisville most recently competed against Missouri last year, sweeping the Tigers in Columbia, Missouri. The women notched a 207-93 win, while the men triumphed by a score of 175-125. The Cardinals won all four relays and 20 individual events in the sweep.
