
Cardinals in Fifth Place After Two Rounds at Boilermaker Classic

Hana Ryskova is tied for fourth overall after 36 holes
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The University of Louisville women's golf team is in fifth place overall after the first two rounds of the Boilermaker Classic at the Kampen-Cosler Course. The Cardinals shot 4-over-par 292 in the first round on Monday and were 9-over par 297 in the second round to finish the day.
Graduate Hana Ryskova led the Cards after the first day as she finished both of her rounds under par through the first two rounds. She opened the day with a 4-under par 68 in the first round and finished the day with a 1-under-par 71 in the second round. In the first round, she carded six birdies and followed it up with four birdies in the second round. The 68 from the first round is her lowest 18-hole score since the final round of the Mason Rudolph Classic in 2021, where she shot a 66.
Graduate Rylee Suttor is tied for 25th at 4-over par through the first two rounds. She shot 4-over-par 76 in the first round and was an even-par 72 in the second round. She had a total of five birdies over the first two rounds. Senior Molly Lyne is one shot back of Suttor with 5-over-par through two rounds. She tallied an even-par 72 in the first round and 5-over-par 77 in the second round.
Junior Carmen Griffiths is tied for 53rd with a 9-over par (77-76) and Gabbi Bentancourt is tied for 77th overall with 14-over par (77-81).
The Cardinals will be back on the course Tuesday morning for the final round of the Boilermaker Classic. All of the Cardinals will begin at 9 a.m. ET as the third round will begin with a shotgun start. Fans can follow along with our social media accounts with updates throughout the final round.
