DURHAM, N.C. – Sebastian Moss carded an 8-under-par 64 in the second round of the Rod Myers Invitational to lead the University of Louisville men's golf team into second place after day one. Moss currently leads the field in first place, shooting a 7-under-par 137 after 36 holes.

The Cardinals are two shots off from the lead, which is held by host-team Duke at 7-under-par 569. As a team, the Cards shot a 5-over-par 293 in the first round but turned it around and shot 10-under-par 278 in round two, propelling them from fourth place to second.

Senior Max Kennedy made an impressive mark, carding a 4-under-par 68 in the second round as he sits in a tie for fourth place. Kennedy shot an even 72 in the first round of action and has a total score of 140.

Freshman Clay Pendergrass is in a tie for 24^th and is shooting 3-over-par 147. Easton Johnson is tied for 34^th, carding a 5-over-par 149 and Mads Roddik is tied for 49^th with an 8-over-par 152. Cooper Claycomb, who is competing as an individual, is in a tie for 46^th after scoring a 7-over-par 151.

The final round will begin tomorrow morning with tee times starting at 8 a.m. ET.
