NORMAN, Okla. — Three University of Louisville men's golfers have been named 2022-23 GCAA All-America Scholars for NCAA Division, the organization announced on Thursday.
Jiri Zuska, Mads Roddik and Sebastian Moss each earned honors for their work in the classroom last year. The trio was instrumental in guiding the Cardinals to an NCAA regional appearance.
Zuska, who exhausted eligibility, finished his career by also earning all-league honors after registering the ninth-best stroke average in school history. He finished the year with three consecutive finishes in the top 10 before ending his career by placing in a tie for 11th at the Morgan Hill Regional.
A junior-college transfer, Roddik was a starter for the Cardinals in the spring. The sophomore carded a 74.80 stroke average, with a season-best 14th-place finish at the All-American.
Moss, a finance major, posted a solid 71.72 stroke average and had five top-10 endings during the 2022-23 season. In his first regional appearance, Moss tied for 17th after carding a 3-over-par 219.
To be eligible for GCAA All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA.
