
Federico Gomez Captures M15 Belgrade Doubles Title

Former University of Louisville men's tennis standout Federico Gomez recently won the M15 Belgrade doubles title as part of the International Tennis Federation World Tennis Tour.
Playing in Belgrade, Serbia, Gomez teamed with Leonardo Aboian to win three consecutive matches in straight sets while advancing to the finals. The duo then prevailed with a pair of tiebreak wins, defeating Loris Pourroy and Andreja Petrovic 7-6 (5) and 7-6 (1) to claim the title.
The Buenos Aires, Argentina native graduated from Louisville in 2019 and currently stands at No. 263 in the ATP doubles rankings and a career-best No. 547 in singles.
