Ellee Grosser Named CSC Academic All-District

Louisville coxswain can advance towards Academic All-American status
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville coxswain Ellee Grosser was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.  The molecular and cellular in developmental biology major has maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average through four years as a Cardinal. Â

The Villa Hills, Ky. native was named to the Athletic Director Honor Roll (Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Fall 2022, Spring 2023). She was a Dean's Scholar (Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Fall 2022, Spring 2023) as well as a Red and Black Scholar (Fall 2019, Fall 2020, Fall 2021, 2022).

At the helm of the First Varsity Eight boat, she coxed the Cardinals to a seventh place finish at the Rivanna Romp and a second and third place at the two day Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational. At the Sunshine State Invitational, she coxed the Cards to a second-place finish in the qualifying heat and a fourth place finish overall. The Cards' V8 boat was fifth at Lake Wheeler, second versus Michigan and won the petit final at the ACC Championships.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom.  Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 21 (men) and June 22 (women).
