
Cards Add Nakanishi to Signing Class

Kosuke Nakanishi will join the Cardinals in the fall of 2023
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's tennis coach Rodrigo da Silva has announced that Kosuke Nakanishi has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the Cardinals. He will join the team in the fall of 2023.
Nakanishi comes to Louisville from Hiroshima, Japan and earned an International Tennis Federation Junior Ranking of 750 in the fall of 2022. In singles, he defeated the No. 46-ranked player in the world en route to reaching the round of 16 of the JA Osaka Mayor's Cup.
"Kosuke is a guy with a lot of potential," said da Silva. "He is very hungry to practice and find ways to improve his game and we are excited to start working with him and get ready for the season"
