Perroni Earns IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine Honors

Nicole Perroni was named IWLCA All-Region Second Team and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville lacrosse senior Nicole Perroni was named to the IWLCA All-Region Second Team and the USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention.
The senior was named to the IWLCA All-Region Second Team for the second straight season and earned the first USA Lacrosse Magazine honor of her career. Perroni is the second player in Cardinal history to be named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Honorable Mention.
Named to the All-ACC Second team, Perroni led the Cards in points (45), goals (37), shots (91), shots on goal (68), and caused turnovers (29), was ranked second in draw controls (51) and free-position goals (10), and was ranked third in ground balls (31) and assists (8) this season.
Playing 52 games in her career, the midfielder finished the season on a program-high 36 game goal-scoring streak, which broke the previous record of 34 games. She ranks sixth all-time in Louisville program history with 126 draw controls and 63 caused turnovers.
