CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- The University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 7-0 to No. 14-ranked Miami Thursday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

The Cardinals dropped the doubles point to start the match as the No. 52 ranked Miami duo of Daevenia Achong and Maya Tahan rolled 6-1 over Rhea Verma and Andrea Di Palma. The Louisville twosome of Sasha Gorchanyuk and Maria Campos fell 6-4 at No. 3.

The Cardinals were shut out in singles as the Hurricane ran the table. The first to fall was at the two slot, where No. 106-ranked Daevenia Achong beat UofL's Jamilah Snells 6-0, 6-1. aAt No. 1, No. 7-ranked Alexa Noel beat No. 109-ranked Andrea Di Palma 6-4, 6-2. The match was clinched when Louisville's Cici Xin fell 6-4, 6-3 to Mia Mack at the fifth slot.

The Cardinals head to Florida State for an ACC matchup against the Seminoles on Saturday in Tallahassee.
