The Cardinals will boast their full roster at the same meet for the first time this outdoor season, as 73 athletes are slated to compete over the course of the two-day event. Field events will begin Friday afternoon at 11:00 a.m. ET with the women's hammer throw, while track events are set to begin at 4:30 p.m. ET with the women's 800m.
The meet will feature a handful of Cardinals near the top of the national rankings in their respective events who will be competing in Louisville for the first time this season after competing at Florida's Tom Jones Memorial two weeks ago.
Jeremiah Willis and Cameron Miller highlight the men's competitors going into the weekend as two of four Louisville men in the top-ten nationally for their events. Willis holds the second-best long jump mark in the nation after leaping 8.06m (26-5.5) at the Texas Relays, while Miller rounds out the top-three times in the men's 200m after running a wind-aided 19.93 at the Tom Jones Memorial.
The women's squad will be led by Synclair Savage who broke the women's long jump school record earlier this season at the Texas Relays with a leap of 6.53m (21-5.25), the eighth-best jump in the nation this season, while Aliyah Welter (pole vault) and Katie Martin (400m hurdles) also rank in the top-20 competitors of those events this season.
