Action in Bloomington will begin Friday at 4:00 p.m. ET.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville track and field teams hit the road once again as they travel to Bloomington, Ind. for the Indiana Invitational on Apr. 21-22.
The women's hammer throw will kick off the competition Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. ET, while the track events are slated to begin at 5:30 p.m. ET with the women's 200m.
The Cardinals will head to Indiana on the heels of a strong showing last weekend, led by a trio of freshmen who etched their names into the Louisville record books and are set to toe the line again this weekend.
Noah Carmichael, Jaylen Cole, and Nolan Macklin all posted top-ten times in school history a week ago, with Cole's time of 10.40 in the 100m at the Jim Freeman Louisville Invitational standing as a new freshman record in the event.
The women's side also saw a pair of athletes who will compete in Bloomington earn big personal bests on their way to runner-up finishes at the Jim Freeman Louisville Invitational, as Maddie Horne earned a lifetime best of nearly three meters in the discus throw and Madeline Castleberry eclipsed her previous best in the 3000m by almost 30 seconds.
