Cards Close Regular Season in National Rankings

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team will close out the regular season at No. 36 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings. The Cardinals' doubles team of Natan Rodrigues and Fabien Salle stand at No. 11 while Salle, Rodrigues and Eteinne Donnet are all among the ITA's ranked singles players.

UofL (15-10) will open Atlantic Coast Conference tournament play on Thursday at 6 p.m. against Notre Dame at the Cary Tennis Courts in Cary, N.C.

The tandem of Rodrigues and Salle moved up four spots in the doubles rankings while teaming for a 23-7 record and going 7-3 as Louisville's top-seeded team.

Donnet leads the way in the national singles rankings at No. 34 while carrying a 24-7 overall record and a 17-4 mark in dual matches. Salle is slotted at No. 61 with a 26-9 singles record and a 14-5 tally in dual matches. Rodrigues rounds out the ranked singles players at No.79 with a 19-11 overall singles record and going 8-8 in dual matches mostly at No. 1.
