LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville volleyball team has announced its spring schedule with the Cardinals playing four total matches, one on the road and three at L&N Federal Credit Union Arena.
Â
The Cardinals, who were the national runners-up at the 2023 NCAA Championships, will take on rival Kentucky on March 24 at L&N Arena at 6 p.m. UofL has won the last two meetings with the Wildcats, both 3-2 nailbiters in Lexington in 2022 and in Louisville in 2021.
Â
Then the Cardinals will host Athletes Unlimited, a group that has created an American-based pro league for volleyball. In the past, former Louisville stars Tori Dilfer and Erin Fairs have competed for AU teams. That match will be at 6 p.m. on March 31 in L&N Arena.
Â
Louisville will hit the road to play Ohio State on April 8 in Columbus. The Buckeyes handed the Cardinals one of their two regular season losses in 2022,  beating the Cardinals 3-1 as part of the Cardinal Classic.
Â
The final match of the spring slate will come against the Volunteers of Tennessee at 6 p.m. April 15 in L&N Arena. The two teams have not matched up since 2011 when the Vols beat UofL 3-0 in the KFC Yum! Center.
