Louisville Lacrosse Moves into IWLCA Poll at No. 24

It marks the first time that Louisville has been ranked since the 2021 season.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Following a 12-5 win over No. 24 Colorado on Sunday afternoon, the University of Louisville lacrosse has moved into the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Top 25 poll at No. 24.
It marks the first time that Louisville has been ranked in the IWLCA poll since they concluded the 2021 season at No. 25.
The Cards jumped into the polls behind the solid play of goal keeper Sara Addeche, who opened the season with 21 saves in the first two games. She recorded 14 saves as the Cards picked up their first win of the season last Sunday.
With Louisville moving into the poll, seven ACC teams are represented including three in the top five with No. 1 North Carolina, No. 3 Boston College, and No. 4 Syracuse.
The Cardinals host Lindenwood, the 2022 Division II National Champions, on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
