Vanroose Ready to Represent Belgium at U20 European Cross Country Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville cross country freshman Rhune Vanroose is set to continue her postseason run Sunday morning at the U20 European Cross Country Championships.
The event will take place in Brussels, Belgium at Laeken Park with the gun set to go off for the women's U20 race at 6:00 a.m. ET.
Vanroose clinched a spot in Sunday's European Championships after placing third in the women's junior race at the Belgian Cross Country Championships on Nov. 19.
The native of Buggenhout, Belgium competed in three meets for the Cardinals during the fall cross country season, recording a personal-best 6K time of 21:06.2 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational.
