
Lacrosse Announces 2024 Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's lacrosse program has announced their schedule for the 2024 spring season.
This season's schedule will feature familiar foes from the 2023 season with just two new opponents, Liberty (Mar. 21) and Xavier (Mar. 27). The Cards will face six teams that ended the 2023 season ranked in the top 25.
The Cardinals will begin their season with a pair of games up north, at Denver and at Colorado. Louisville opened up their 2023 season against Denver, falling 4-5 but upset No. 25 Colorado, 12-5 in game two of the season.
The first home game will take place on Feb. 16 against Marquette. The Golden Eagles finished No. 20 in the 2023 season.
The Cards will face their first in-conference opponent when they play Virginia Tech at home on Feb. 25. They will then travel to Pittsburgh on Mar. 2 and Cincinnati on Mar. 6 before returning home to play Boston College (Mar. 10) and Clemson (Mar. 16). Boston College ended at No. 2 overall last season.
Louisville will round out their conference play with a trio of away games at North Carolina (Mar. 23), at Syracuse (Mar. 30), and at Duke (Apr. 12) and a pair of home matchups against Virginia (Apr. 6) and Notre Dame (Apr. 18).
The ACC Tournament begins Apr. 21 with Quarterfinals scheduled for Apr. 24, Semifinals on Apr. 26, and the ACC Championship game on Apr. 28.
