Vanroose Places 41st at U20 European Cross Country Championships

BRUSSELS, Belgium – University of Louisville cross country freshman Rhune Vanroose capped off her fall season on Sunday morning at the U20 European Cross Country Championships in Brussels, Belgium.
Vanroose placed 41st overall in the U20 women's 5K race to help her home country of Belgium to a sixth-place finish in the competition.
With the cross country season officially over, Vanroose and the rest of the Cardinals will turn their attention to the indoor track & field campaign, which will continue on Jan. 12-13 with the Rod McCravy Memorial Invite.
