Cardinals Finish Eighth at The Ally

This is the final fall tournament of the season for the Cards
WEST POINT, Miss. — The University of Louisville women's golf team finished in eighth place at The Ally Tournament in West Point, Mississippi. The Cardinals shot a 15-over-par 303 in the final round and finished the tournament at 39-over-par 903 after 54 holes.
Gabbi Bentancourt paced the Cardinals and carded a top-15 finish after she finished tied for 13th at 5-over-par. In the final round on Wednesday, Bentancourt shot a 4-over-par 76.
Beatriz Barrios finished in a tie for 32nd overall after shooting 10-over-par for the tournament. In her final round, she shot an 8-over-par 80 on wednesday.
Hana Ryskova was one shot behind Barrios at 11-over-par and finished 40th overall for the tournament. She shot a 3-over-par 75 in the final round.
Rylee Suttor had the best final round of the Cardinals competing in the tournament with a 1-over-par 73. She finished the tournament tied for 42nd overall at 14-over-par.
Millie Cottrell and Carly Haines rounded out the group for the Cardinals this week. Competing as an individual, Cottrell shot 27-over-par and finished 63rd overall. Haines was one shot behind her at 28-over-par and finished 64th overall.
The Cardinals will be back out on the course in the spring for the second half of their season. The Cards first event will be a match play event with Indiana on January 16th down in Naples, Florida. The first tournament of the spring will be on February 2nd when the Cards compete in the Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club.
