Cards Move Up to 8th After Second Round of The Ally

WEST POINT, Miss. - The University of Louisville women's golf team moved up two spots after posting a 6-over-par 294 in round two of The Ally.Â
Junior Gabbi Bentancourt leads the Cardinals after posting a 2-under-par 70 in the second round. Her bogey-free back nine holes propelled her into a tie for eighth overall, carding a 1-over-par 145 through the first 36 holes.Â
Beatriz Barrios recorded six birdies in the second round and had a bogey-free back nine that pushed her into a tie for 12th overall. She currently has a 2-over-par 146 through the first 36 holes.Â
Hana Ryskova carded a 78 in round two and currently sits in a tie for 37th. Rylee Suttor's second round score of 76 pushed her up to a tie for 53rd and Carly Haines recorded a 79 to move her into 66th overall. Millie Cottrell, who is competing as an individual, is in 60th with a score of 15-over-par 159.Â
