Glock and Cresse Earn ACC Weekly Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Louisville's Cara Cresse was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week and Cardinals' Elle Glock earned Setter of the Week honors for the second week in a row.
Cresse had a dominant performance for No. 6 Louisville over the weekend as the Cardinals swept No. 8 Pitt and Virginia, hitting .643 against the Panthers and .538 against the Cavaliers. The 6-6 redshirt sophomore from Fort Wayne, Indiana, averaged 3.17 kills per set with 19 kills on the weekend for a .593 hitting percentage to go along with six blocks, a pair of digs and two aces.
Glock earned her second consecutive weekly honor after setting the Cardinals up for a weekend sweep and averaging 11.00 assists per set. With 43 assists against No. 8 Pitt, the Wahoo, Nebraska, native had Louisville hitting .388 while adding six digs and a block. Glock recorded 23 assists, four digs, two kills and two blocks against the Cavaliers in Louisville's 12th sweep of the season.
