UofL wins second match of the doubleheader
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville women's tennis team beat Bellarmine 4-1 in the second match of the doubleheader on Saturday.

The Cardinals dropped the doubles point to start the singles competition down 1-0. Maria Campos got her second win of the day to score the first point when she beat Hanley Riner 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4. Tyra Richardson scored next when she dispatched Channing Varnum 6-2, 6-1 to give Louisville the 2-1 lead. Cici Xin scored next for the Cards with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Shu Grosso at No. 5 and Rhea Verma clinched the match with a win at No. 2, going 6-3, 6-3 over Lailaa Bashir.

The Cards are idle until Jan. 28 when they host Ball State at noon and Eastern Kentucky at 5 p.m.
