
Bianco Selected to USA Field Hockey Under-21 Women's National Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Louisville's Izzy Bianco has been named to USA Field Hockey Under-21 Women's National Team as announced by USA Field Hockey today.

Bianco was named to the team after attending the U-21 Selection Camp held in January at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. She will also attend the Junior Pan American Championship (JPAC) selection camp in February. Following that training camp, the JPAC traveling team will be announced for the Junior World Cup Qualifier in April. Read the complete USA Field Hockey release here.

The midfielder from Berlin, N.J., is coming off of a solid freshman campaign at Louisville in which she played in all 20 games with five starts and helped the Cardinals earn their fourth-straight NCAA tournament bid. Louisville was ranked No. 12 in the final National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll after spending the entire season in the top 15 and reaching as high as No. 4 in the 2022 campaign.
