Assistant Coach Allison Daley was named to the Canisius Hall of Fame
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's lacrosse assistant coach, Allison Daley, was named to the Canisius Athletics 58th Sports Hall of Fame Class.Â

Daley was a four-year letterwinner and a two-time All-MAAC first team honoree at Canisius. The Ontario, Canada native owns the school's career records with 662 saves and an 11.66 goals against average. Daley was the first women's lacrosse player to earn all-region honors in 2011 after being ranked seventh in the nation with a .496 save percentage. The 2011 MAAC Championship MVP and 2010 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year led the team to the program's first MAAC title in 2011.Â

After her collegiate career, Daley played for Team Canada at the 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse Women's Lacrosse World Championship. She also served as the associate head coach for current UofL head coach Scott Teeter for Team Canada at the 2019 U-19 World Championship.Â

Daley was named head coach at Canisius prior to the 2018 season and served as the head coach for four seasons. Prior to her head coaching stint, Daley was an assistant coach at Canisius, Binghamton, and Delaware.

Daley is in her second season as an assistant coach for the Cardinals. She joined the women's lacrosse staff in June of 2021.
