
Morris, Perroni Earn IWLCA Honors; Blalock Earns USA Lax Magazine Honors

Hannah Morris and Nicole Perroni were named IWLCA All-Region Second Team, while Caroline Blalock was named USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville lacrosse senior Hannah Morris and junior Nicole Perroni were named IWLCA All-Region Second Team, while graduate Caroline Blalock was named USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention.
Morris led the team and ranked ninth in the Atlantic Coast Conference with 56 goals and 3.11 goals per game this season. Her 56 goals more than doubled her previous season-high of 25 in 2021 and she also recorded 66 points, besting her previous high of 27. She scored in 16 of 18 games and finished with a career-high six goals against Syracuse. Her 108 career goals rank second on the team, behind Blalock's 144.

Perroni tallied 50 goals on the season, which ranked 13th in the ACC. She led the team with 28 caused turnovers and was second with 34 ground balls and 64 draw controls. She tied her career-high with five goals against Syracuse and Pittsburgh. She scored at least one goal in all 18 games this season and dating back to last year has a 20-game goal scoring streak.

Blalock was also named All-ACC Second Team and earlier this year, the five-year captain was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List. She led the Cards in assists (19) and ground balls (36), ranked second in points (57) and caused turnovers (18), and ranked third in goals (38) and draw controls (41). She ranked sixth in the ACC with 2.0 ground balls per game.
