Wooo Pig Classic Schedule Altered

The University of Louisville softball team will hit the road for the third straight weekend when the Cardinals head to Fayetteville, Ark. for the Wooo Pig Classic. Due to inclement weather in the area, the tournament schedule has been altered from its original format.

Louisville will now open tournament play on Saturday with a game against Kansas. On Sunday, the Cardinals will take on Nebraska as well as No. 10/8 Arkansas and face the Huskers and Razorbacks again on Monday.

About Louisville Softball
Louisville brings a 7-3 overall record into the weekend after a 3-2 performance in Florida's T-Mobile Tournament. The Cardinals opened the weekend with a 10-7, nine-inning win against Villanova and followed with a 10-0 win over Florida A&M on Friday. Saturday brought a pair of losses against top-15 teams with a 9-1 setback at No. 4/4 Florida and a 6-3 loss to No. 14/14 Duke in a non-conference matchup. The Cards bounced back with a 3-2 eight-inning win against Villanova on Sunday.
