Cards Conclude Fall Season at Kentucky Saturday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville softball team will travel to Lexington this Saturday to wrap up its fall season against the Wildcats at 6 p.m. at John Cropp Stadium. The game is billed as Kentucky's Big Blue Boo 2 and will be televised by SEC Network+ or on the ESPN app.

Saturday game will mark Louisville's final fall game, capping four weekends of play with the Cardinals registering a 6-1 record entering the weekend. It will also be Louisville's second matchup with Kentucky this fall after falling to the Wildcats 6-5 on Oct. 9 at Ulmer Stadium.

Last Time Out
Louisville hosted Indiana in a doubleheader last time out, defeating the Hoosiers in both contests 3-2 and 15-9. Daisy Hess led the way offensively, totaling three hits, three runs, and an RBI from the leadoff batter position on the day.

Four pitchers took the circle for the Cardinals, Cassie Grizzard got the win in game one, only allowing one hit and registering two strikeouts in two innings pitched. Sam Booe secured the second win, striking out three batters through four innings.
