Cardinals Finish Play at Notre Dame

The Cardinals finish the weekend 1-2-1
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team finished its lone away fall ball tournament 1-2-1 with a win against Michigan, losses against Ohio State and Notre Dame and a tie against Ohio State at Notre Dame this weekend.

The Cardinals began the weekend with a win against Michigan on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET. UofL beat the Wolverines 11-4. The Cards then played Ohio State at 3:30 pm and lost a closely contested game 10-9.Â

Today, the Cardinals lost to Notre Dame 13-4 at 11:30 a.m. At 1 pm, UofL played Ohio State again and ended in a tie 9-9.Â

Michigan is ranked No. 18 on the USA Lacrosse Magazine's Early 2023 rankings. Notre Dame is ranked No. 14.Â

UofL returns home on Oct. 15 for their second home tournament. Opponents and game times will be announced at a later date.Â
