Men's Tennis in National Team, Singles and Doubles Rankings

Louisville, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team continues is streak of appearances in the latest ITA National Rankings. The Cardinals remain at No. 50 in team rankings while Fabien Salle and Sergio Hernandez are ranked in singles and Salle teams with Matthew Fung in the doubles rankings.
Salle sits at No. 58 in the latest rankings after appearing as high as No. 57 in the previous two ranking periods The junior currently leads the team in singles and holds a 13-2 overall record and dual match play. Salle is currently on a five-match winning streak. Last week he defeated Sean Sculley against No. 37 Duke 7-6, 6-3 in the ACC Tournament.
Hernandez appears in the single rankings for the fifth time this season at No. 75, up six spots from last week. The junior currently holds an overall record of 12-5 primarily playing at the team's three spot.
Salle and Fung sit at No. 53 in the latest doubles rankings while making their fourth straight appearance this season. The duo currently holds a 11-9 record in dual match play and lead the team in doubles. Salle and Fung have won three of their last five matches, last defeating Virginia's duo Schulenburg and Inaki Montes 6-2 less than two weeks ago.
The Cardinals (9-12) have been ranked among the top 50 four times this season.
