DURHAM, N.C. -- Claire Chaussee had 12 kills, three aces and three blocks to lead the University of Louisville to a 3-0 sweep of Duke in ACC volleyball action Saturday afternoon in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Cardinals move to 8-2 on the season with the 25-6, 25-16, 25-21 win. UofL hit .365 as a team with six aces, nine blocks and 58 digs. Tori Dilfer had a match-high 31 assists, adding four kills, 13 digs and three blocks to her stat column. Nena Mbonu had 11 kills and two blocks and Aiko Jones had nine kills, hitting .400 and adding four digs.

Duke hit .037 as a team with three aces, five blocks and 46 digs. The Blue Devils (8-6, 6-5) were led by Payton Schwantz's seven kills with Lily Cooper adding four kills and three blocks.

The Cards stay in Durham tonight and will play Duke again tomorrow at 2 p.m. in a non-conference tilt. UofL was supposed to play Clemson on Friday but the Tigers had to enter COVID protocol and so the matches were moved to Duke with the second match deemed as non-conference.
