Louisville is back in action for the first time since Oct. 25
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The No. 12-ranked University of Louisville volleyball team will host the University of Dayton in an exhibition match 3 p.m. Saturday Feb. 6 at L&N Federal Credit Union Arena.
Â
Carrying a 5-2 record and plenty of momentum into an unprecedented spring season, the Cardinals will play a 12-match schedule that includes 11 ACC opponents. The season starts with an exhibition against Dayton and a non-conference match on the road versus Lipscomb before the Cardinals dive into conference play. Â
Â
The Cards ended a condensed 2020 fall season holding on to the No. 5 spot in the final AVCA rankings. The fall schedule was highlighted by back-to-back sweeps of Boston College and Syracuse.
Â
Although L&N Federal Credit Union Arena will play host to five of the Cardinals' matches, attendance will be restricted to family and friends in accordance with state and local health recommendations. Tickets will not be available for purchase.
Â
All 2019 Louisville Volleyball season ticket holders will still have their seat locations secured when we're able to return to full capacity. Watch the schedule on GoCards.com for links for the matches that will be streamed or televised.
Â
Spring matches will count in addition to the team's fall record, as the Cards eye qualification for the 2020 NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship. For the most up to date schedule including time changes or potential rescheduled matches, follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
