
Caroline Blalock Named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville lacrosse senior midfielder Caroline Blalock has been named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American Honorable Mention.

Blalock is a four-year captain for the Cardinals. Last season she named preseason All-ACC and led the team with 20 ground balls, which ranked sixth in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

As a freshman, she was named All-ACC Second Team after leading Louisville with 43 goals, 55 points and 24 caused turnovers. As a sophomore, she was named ACC All-Academic Team and her 23 caused turnovers ranked third on the team, eighth in the ACC and tied for 10th in UofL single season history.

Louisville opens the season at home against Florida on Saturday, Feb. 13.
