Zuska Leads Cardinals During Second Round of the Blessings Collegiate Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Jiri Zuska fired a second round 69 to pace the University of Louisville men's golf team at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational at the Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark., on Tuesday.
The Cardinals remained in ninth place, but improved by 11 shots from Monday after shooting a 2-under-par 286 to finish at 7-over-par after two days of action.
After opening with a 69 on Monday, Zuska matched that total on Tuesday to close the day in a tie for third place at 6-under-par. Arkansas' Luke Long leads the field at 10-under-par heading into Wednesday's final round of action. The senior carded four birdies and one bogey to pace the Cardinals during the second round.
Chris Francouer shot a 1-over-par 73 to place in a tie for 18th place after two rounds of action, while Walker Franklin shot a 1-under-par 71 -- an eight-shot improvement from Monday -- to move into 38th place. Max Kennedy carded a 3-over-75 to move into a tie for 46th place, while Hugh O'Hare made a nine-shot improvement with a 73 to slip into a tie for 50th.
The Cardinals will tee off Wednesday morning at 10:45 a.m.
