Cardinals Complete Day One of Drobac/Beeman Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The University of Louisville picked up two wins on day one of the MSU/Drobac/Beeman Invitational Friday at Michigan State.
Senior David Mizrahi opened the day with a 7-5, 7-5 singles win against the Spartans' Max Sheldon. Sophomore Kyle Tang fell 6-3, 6-4 to Michigan State's Graydon Lair in his first match of the tournament.
In doubles, Mizrahi and Tang teamed to beat Sheldon and Lair 6-2 in the first round. The pair lost a tight 7-5 decision to Notre Dame's Aditya Vashistha and Matthew Che in their next match.
The tournament will continue on Saturday at 10 a.m.
