
Oberhausen Named ACC Men's Field Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Louisville's Micah Oberhausen has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Performer of the Week the league office announced on January 27.

Oberhausen posted a personal-best mark of 5,248 in the heptathlon competition at the Hokie Invitational last weekend. The score currently ranks third nationally. The Jeffersonville, Indiana, native won the opening event of the heptathlon with a time of 7.04 in the 60m dash. He followed with a personal best leap of 7.21m (23-8), good for second place in the long jump. Oberhausen finished atop the heptathlon shot put standings with a mark of 14.30m (46-11) and logged another personal best, clearing 1.87m (6-1.5) to finish sixth in the high jump. He stands eighth on Louisville's all-time list for heptathlon performances.
