Lacrosse Adds Kylea Dobson for 2021 Season
January 21, 2021 | Women's Lacrosse
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team has announced the addition of attacker Kylea Dobson to the roster for the 2021 season.
Â
A native of Oshawa, Ontario, Dobson arrives in Louisville from The Hill Academy where she was named the Offensive Player of the Year as a senior.
Â
"We're beyond excited to add a player of Kylea's caliber," said head coach Scott Teeter. "I got the opportunity to coach her at the international level and she really excelled in our system. She's a good finisher, a feeder, she has great vision, great hands. She has all the intangibles. She's a true offensive threat."
Â
Along with Nicole Perroni and Olivia Toll, and under Teeter's coaching, Dobson represented Team Canada at the U19 Women's Lacrosse World Championship in 2019 where she led them to a second-place finish. During the closing ceremonies, Dobson was named to the All-World Team for being one of the top 10 players during the championships.
