
ACC Cross Country Preseason Coaches Poll Released

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Louisville men's cross country team was picked to finish 11th while the women were tabbed to finish 12th in the 2020 ACC Preseason Coaches poll as announced by the league office Tuesday.
Last season, the men and women both finished in 12th place in the ACC Conference Championships. The 2020 Cardinals return 10 letterwinners and add one newcomer to the men's team. On the women's side, Louisville welcomes back five returners including 2019 All-ACC performer Ivine Chemutai and two-time All-American Dorcas Wasike, while seven newcomers will join the team.
Notre Dame, the 2018 conference champion, was picked to finished first for the men while NC State was selected to win its fifth straight ACC women's cross country title.
Louisville will open the 2020 slate on September 19 at the Irish Classic in South Bend, Ind. The 2020 ACC Cross Country Championships will be held on October 30 at WakeMed Park in Cary, North Carolina.
