We had a theme for the boat which was "For the Roses" that related to the Derby. The boat had a ton of heart and we all had complete trust in each other and knew what we'd been doing at practice was going to pay off. Ending up passing Michigan State and maintained our distance with Michigan which was super motivational for us.
