LOUISVILLE, Ky.-- Louisville plays its final regular season game as the Cardinals visit Charlottesville, Va. to face the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday for the second time this year.

The Cardinals won for the third time in their last four games in beating Virginia Tech 68-52 on March 1 in their final home game of the season. UofL held a 40-26 advantage on the boards, their 11th double-digit rebounding margin of the season. Jordan Nwora led the Cardinals with 20 points, 12 rebounds and two assists, marking his sixth double-double of the season and 15th in the last two years.

Louisville has five players averaging eight or more points a game. Nwora leads the team in scoring with 18.0 points per game, while pulling down 7.6 rebounds a game.  Steven Enoch is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 9.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.   Dwayne Sutton averages 9.3 points while leading the team in rebounding with 8.3 per game.   Fresh Kimble leads the team with 78 assists.

The Cavaliers (22-7, 14-5 ACC) have won seven straight and 10 of their last 11 games, including winning 46-44 at Miami on March 4 in their last game. Jay Huff led Virginia with 17 points and nine rebounds in that game, while Mamadi Diakite added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Virginia leads the nation in scoring defense (52.3 ppg) and is second in field goal percentage defense (.369), while the Cavaliers and Louisville are the top two in the ACC in both defensive
statistics. Kihei Clark is second in the ACC in minutes played (37.1), third in assists (5.9) and ninth in assists-turnovers ratio (1.67). Virginia is No. 22 in the Sagarin Ratings, No. 48 in the NET rankings, No. 38 in ESPN's College Basketball Power Index (BPI) and No. 45 by Ken Pomeroy through March 4.

- Jordan Nwora was honored on the 2020 CoSIDA District 2 Academic All-District basketball team. The preseason ACC Player of the Year, he is the only player to rank among the ACC's top 10 in scoring (18.0 ppg, second in the ACC), rebounding (7.4, 8th), free throw percentage (.810, 4th), field goal percentage (.443, 8th) and three-pointers made per game (2.4, 3rd).
